The BIO-PHOENIX consortium mid-term meeting was held on the 1st and 2nd of February 2023 at FORTH premises in Heraklion, Crete, Greece.
Starting with an overview of the project management by our coordinator, Panos Chatziadam, from FORTH, the meeting included interactive and engaging presentations from the leaders of the seven work packages of the project.
Ioannis Vezakis from STSA followed with a presentation on co-DNA modelling, including biology fundamentals, co-DNA modelling language, co-DNA specification tool, and verification of co-DNA models.
Eleftheria Vellidou from ICCS, leading WP3, presented the Co-DNA Processes Development, including biology fundamentals of core co-DNA processes and verification.
The project coordinator also presented WP4 concerning the system’s survivability, resilience, and security. The presentation included system resilience & survivability properties under the co-DNA approach and the system security properties under the co-DNA approach.
Jakub Muszyński from BlueSoft presented the design and development of the co-DNA runtime platform.
Vlatka Katusic, from EPBS–CERC, presented the system reconstruction scenarios and validation, including requirements, trial applications, and validation. The trial application included a management system to reserve operating rooms in a hospital proposed by DGS team Paolo D’Elia and Liliana Liverani. Finally, École des Ponts Business School also presented dissemination, impact, and exploitation strategy and activities performed during these three years of project implementation.
The progress and achievements of the BIO-PHOENIX project were welcomed by our project officer Mr Sotirios Kiokias. Congratulations to all partners for their outstanding work.
